CMiC

Project Services and Construction enterprise software company, CMiC, required a Private Cloud solution to support their business in the Asia Pacific region.

They were seeking an experienced Australian based cloud services provider capable of providing content to the Asia Pacific region and overcome geographical issues. Due to latency, they were unable to provide their services as a cloud service from the USA.

When considering possible solutions for their business, CMiC considered both co‐location options and a managed service.

CMiC chose to partner with Infoplex to deliver SaaS and opted for a managed service, the Infoplex server hosting and storage solution, for their business.

Damon Stevenson, Director of International Business, CMiC, said that Infoplex was able to provide a one-stop shop solution for CMiC and provided the best fit for our regional growth strategy. “We were at one stage considering to install servers into a data centre with co-location facilities, and engaging a local company to install and manage them. However Infoplex provided us with a long term solution which we believe is more robust, scalable and enables us to focus on our core business.”

Through Infoplex sister company, Nextgen Networks, a complete solution will be delivered including national and international private fibre networks across Australia and into Asia.
