Our data centres improve business efficiency whilst minimising costs by providing a secure and reliable solution using cutting edge innovation, reducing the carbon footprint by consuming less energy.
Sister companies Infoplex and Metronode work together in providing the best data centre service possible when it comes to supporting your business and IT needs. Metronode is a leading data centre specialist with operational facilities throughout Australia and expertise in next-generation data centre design and construction.
Our secure data centres employ the full range of physical security and operational procedures to control access, logging, monitoring and accountability. Regular audits ensure our internal controls and security procedures are maintained and verified.
- Reliable
We take every measure to ensure continuous operation of our data centres, including the adoption of robust redundant architectures for all mechanical and electrical plant and equipment. We have implemented the most advanced monitoring, control and security systems, and our facilities are expertly managed by an experienced and committed operations team. Measures taken include:
• N+1 Power
• 24 x 7 Staffing
• Backup generators
• Dual power and cooling feeds
• Active monitoring using video cameras
• Logging and monitoring of all activity
- Secure
Your information is in good hands. Our experienced security team ensures that your mission critical information is never compromised by implementing a strong physical security within our datacentres.
The datacentres operate under a strict design principle with 6 security zones enforced to control all access to the buildings. The security measures taken include:
• Secure fencing around external perimeter
• Surveillance cameras covering all points including the fence line and all entry and exit points
• Card swipe access
• All door frames and locks follow AZO requirements meeting T4 standards ensuring intruder resistance
• Locks are also SCEC approved
• Biometric authentication system in place requiring iris scanning used to control access to the data halls
- Energy Efficient
The key to an efficient and sustainable datacentre is its use of energy. Our datacentres are able to achieve exceptional levels of energy efficiency through both its power and cooling strategies as well as the use of BladeRoom technology.
Through the use of this technology, an ideal PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) level is able to be achieved with our datacentres. The PUE is determined through measuring the amount of power entering the datacentre compared to the power used to run the infrastructure within it.
