Licensing

Customers can choose to supply their own operating systems and licenses, or alternatively use one of the Infoplex licensing options:

Microsoft

Customers can supply their own Microsoft license or can purchase the required license through Infoplex (we are a Microsoft reseller). Alternatively customers can make use of the Microsoft SPLA licensing for short term month-to-month requirements. This has the benefit of no capital outlay or the legacy of owning licenses after the requirement has been fulfilled.

Microsoft SPLA has both a processor (PL) or per subscriber (SAL) licensing model.

Infoplex can supply Microsoft SPLA licenses at the following rates:

Microsoft Windows Server – from $9.50 per user
Microsoft Windows Server (Web Edition) – from $27.50 per processor

Infoplex are also able to offer substantial savings on Virtual Machine SPLA licensing with full Windows Server (Standard or Enterprise) from $6 per month per server and full SQL Processor licensing (Enterprise) from $94 per month per server (not per processor).

Red Hat

Customers can also supply their own RedHat subscriptions or can purchase the required subscription through Infoplex . RedHat also offer a royalty based system for short term month to month subscription requirements. This has the benefit of no capital outlay or the legacy of owning licenses after the requirement has been fulfilled.
