IT Security is paramount in all Infoplex’s operations; this was reinforced by the purchase of ThinkSecure, an IT Security consultancy, in 2007. All Infoplex’s hosted and managed solutions are built on IT security philosophy developed while designing and configuring perimeter infrastructure for some of the largest financial institutions in Australia. Our defense-in-depth strategy employs numerous controls;

• We deploy multiple tiers of firewalls using diverse vendor technology.
• We have network and host based Intrusion Prevention and Intrusion Detection systems in place.
• All our critical infrastructure logs are transferred offline in real time and analysed for malicious activity.
• We perform regular vulnerability scans across our infrastructure.
• We fully harden both windows and linux machines that are deployed in higher risk security zones.
• We follow a strict regime to patch all our servers to minimise vulnerabilities.

With the operations skills we have in managing these technologies Infoplex are able to provide a range of IT Security and network perimeter services to customers secure their data and operations.

Managed Firewall:

Infoplex can monitor the status of your firewall & VPN infrastructure and make policy changes upon request. The service includes a monthly report that includes analysis of the system logs and detail on the load on the infrastructure for capacity planning. Alternatively Private Cloud customers can use virtual firewalls in Infoplex infrastructure and let us take care of the maintenance, configuration as well hardware purchase and installation. POA

Managed IPS / IDS:

Either feed your threat alerts to Infoplex for us to react and investigate or as part of Infoplex Private Cloud obtain full enterprise class services without any hardware purchase. We can configure, maintain and react for most tier 1 vendor threat detection products. POA

Email and Web Content Scanning:

Infoplex Private Cloud customers can feed all their email and web browsing via our content checking infrastructure to achieve reliable, hassle free content verification. Policies are bespoke for each customer and include monthly reports on usage, alerts etc. POA

Vulnerability Scanning and Reporting:

Infoplex can provide a regular or once off vulnerability scan across multiple networks or single hosts. The scan produces a report detailing current risks to every host available on the scanned network. The report gives customers a level of understanding of their current threat status which they can use to lessen their risk posture and improve their process. POA

Log Analysis Alerting & Reporting:

Infoplex provide a monthly report including log analysis for every device managed under Security Services. As an extra service Infoplex can analyse the logs of most leading technologies in real time and provide alerts or recommended course of action to customers. POA

With a great deal of experience in designing, deploying and managing secure perimeters in enterprises across the world Infoplex have the skills and experience to manage most technologies. We are usually able to take on the management and maintenance of most products and provide the same level of alerting, reporting and configuration management as with our core services. POA
