Matthew Madden, General Manager

A driven telecommunications and technology professional, Matthew has held senior sales and management roles in the IT industry for over a decade.

He joined the Leighton Telecommunications Group in February 2008 to lead the Northern Region Sales team for Nextgen Networks. He then moved into the role of Sales Director, Corporate and Government, with Nextgen prior to starting with Infoplex as its General Manager.

Before joining the Leighton Group, Matthew managed the NSW sales team for Uecomm, assisting in its refocus and growth into the corporate, government and system integrator market. During his six-year tenure, Matthew’s team achieved year-on-year double digit revenue growth.

Matthew believes customer focus must be at the core of every business. He has a track record for delivering results, and Infoplex benefits greatly from his ability to bring a group of people together to create a high-performing team. Matthew is passionate about making a difference and his priority is to make things easier for his people, partners & customers.

Chris Weber, Director Sales & Marketing

With more than 14 years’ industry experience, Chris joined Infoplex from IBM Australia, where he had a strong sales and performance track record and remarkable career, holding Group Executive positions and Australia/New Zealand Sales leadership roles in positioning and strategy.

Chris’s core focus is delivering value and quantifiable business outcomes to Infoplex’s customers. He is inspired when he sees customers realising true value from the IT solutions Infoplex helped design and implement. A dedicated sales professional, Chris is passionate about customer service and demands the highest quality for his customers.

Chris is absolutely focused on ensuring Infoplex is an industry leader in customer service and quality. The key to delivering this is ensuring he has a passionate team working together to deliver results.

Aakash Gandhi, Chief Technology Officer

A senior executive, Aakash is known for getting results by focusing on business outcomes and establishing stakeholder relationships across disciplines that span IT, technology, engineering, operations management and program management.

Aakash joined Infoplex in June 2011 as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to this role he was Group Manager- Alliance Engineering at Telstra, responsible for leading the Telstra-Cisco strategic alliance, and before that he headed the National Operations team at Uecomm, a subsidiary of Optus Networks.

With a passion for leading people, Aakash is highly skilled in optimising team dynamics, creating a sense of urgency, negotiating complex outcomes and uniting diverse agendas to a common goal and harnessing strategic drivers to deliver results.

He joined Infoplex because he could see the potential the company has to be a leading cloud provider. Infoplex has a great Data Centre footprint, fantastic infrastructure and awesome people. All these combined = recipe for success.

Aakash is currently undertaking an MBA (Executive) from AGSM, which he expects to complete in 2012. He has an MS in Network Systems and a Bachelor of Engineering – Electronics and Telecommunications. LinkedIn

Gonzalo Del Pozo, Head of Customer Delivery

Gonzalo has over 20 years’ experience in the communications industry.

He was employed by Infoplex as Program Manager in July 2008 to manage the implementation of the Leighton International Remediation Project. In the final stage of this project Gonzalo was promoted to Service Delivery Manager for Infoplex’s key accounts. After spending 18 months in this position he was appointed Head of Customer Delivery, a role that commenced February 2011.

Prior to working at Infoplex, Gonzalo was the Program Director for the Gen-I/CBA Security contract at AAPT.

Gonzalo is pleased to see Infoplex products and services develop and contribute to the growth of the Leighton Telecommunications group. “I’m excited about building a Service Delivery model to grow the business and I truly believe that this will be achieved by ensuring our customer experience is paramount,” he says. “If you’re not serving the customer, your job is to be serving someone who is.”

Jon Eley, Head of Service Operations

Jon is an ITIL V3 Certified Operations Manager with more than 10 years management experience. A customer focused, self-starting IT professional, Jon enjoys and thrives upon challenging, high pressure environments.

With an IT career spanning two decades, Jon is experienced with the planning, implementation and delivery of leading edge technologies in a managed service environment, and sees a great opportunity for Infoplex to become the market leader in cloud services within Australia/Asia Pacific region

Jon started working with Infoplex in April 2010 as Operations Manager. He was appointed to the role Head of Operations in July 2011.

Prior to joining Infoplex, Jon was the Service Delivery Manager at DSP Global Ltd.
His track record also includes eight years with Teletext as Broadcast Systems Manager, a role he held for five years.

He is a highly experienced delivery professional with qualifications in ITIL Service Design and ITIL Service Transition. LinkedIn

Mark Unwin, Commercial Director

A determined and highly motivated senior finance and commercial leader, Mark has a demonstrated capacity to deliver enhanced business performance. He is commercially astute with an ability to lead process, technology and cultural change programs and build a positive and effective team environment.

Mark’s career spans 25 years and includes roles with global organisations such as British Aerospace Plc, Siemens Plessey Gmbh, Computer Science Corporation and local corporations including Telstra, WSN Environmental Solutions and Spotless Services. In July 2011, Mark joined Infoplex as Commercial Director.

Mark was attracted to Infoplex for many reasons including the culture of the company, the commitment of the management team to achieve long term business goals, the growth projections of the organisation and the broad opportunities offered by the cloud-based computing market.

Mark’s qualifications include a B.Bus (Acct), and he is a member of CPA Australia. Mark recently completed the Program on Negotiation for Senior Executives at Harvard Law School. LinkedIn
